The AIS650 Class B Transceiver is the must have for all sub-SOLAS vessels! Made with built in dual channel receivers; Class A & B enables you to transmit data between other AIS equipped vessels as well as receive their data. This data is also exceptionally precise, thanks to the 50 channel, RAIM compliant GPS receiver.
A big safety factor of the AIS650 is that you have the option of a "Silent mode". This is used for added privacy and security. When the "silent mode" is switched on, the AIS650 transmitter turns off. However, the AIS650 still enables you to see transmissions from other vessels.An additional safety factor is that the AIS650 continually records data for accident restoration or incident exploration. There is also a SD Card slot to capture all of the recorded AIS data if you wish.
