Raymarine e95/e97 Touchscreen Multifunction Displays

Raymarine's have released the third generation e Series Multifunction Displays (e95 & e97).  Similar to that of the e7 & e7D displays, the e95 & e97 features include sleek aesthetically appeal, built in highly sensitive GPS receiver, built in dual-core processor for amazing speed and performance, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities, LightHouse user interface and up to six network integration.  Furthermore, the e97 display comes with built-in Fish-Finder Sonar

The e95 & e97 Displays have a sleek aesthetically appealing shape with a wide bonded LCD screen for maximised viewing. The new bonded LCD screen is 9 inches and is available with or without cartography and built in Fish Finder, depending on your boating needs.  With the built in LED backlighting, this display is super bright, but energy saving at the same time; providing up to 40% less power than previous generations of displays.  New added technology to this screen means that it can eliminate condensation to prevent unwanted reflections.  Additionally, this technology can also allow amplified light for perfect viewing from polarised sunglasses; making this the "boaties dream display".

Utilising Raymarine's innovative technology and easy-to-use controls, the new LightHouse user interface makes for user-friendly menus and customisation.  The e97 Displays also boasts an incredible expanding network. The composite video outputs and various assemblies allow you to connect up to six other Raymarine products with SeaTalkHS networking including thermal imaging, low light or marine docking cameras.

Proving to be one of the world leading brands of the market today, Raymarine have incorporated Wi-Fi capabilities to their new displays.  Now you can synchronise and view your way points and route on your Navionics charts using the "Navionics Mobile" app from your iPad or iPhone. 

Additionally, you can also connect your iPad, iPhone and even your iPod via the built in Bluetooth to connect to your multimedia options.  Play, pause, skip and rewind your music or video stream all from your hand without the need for big expensive hubs or accessories.  However, if you are at the wheel of your vessel, you too can control your music using the RCU-3 remote control option.  Attach it to your wheel or lanyard around your neck and away you go.
