Simrad AP24 Mechanical Helm Drive Autopilot System contains all the necessary components for a complete cable-steering autopilot set up. The key component in this kit is the Type-S Helm drive that replaces the manual drive used on a typical cable steer Boat. It is directly compatible with the Morse 290 steering helm but has it's own bezel kit and can be easily retrofitted to most set ups using the cable and steering wheel that is already on the boat.
