As the world's first 7" (17.78cm) Multifunction Display, the e7 Display is specifically designed for all boating types; powered crafts, sail boats, fishing crafts and RIB's. So with this all in mind, you can explore all the new features that the e7 provides.
The e7 Display has a sleek, clean shape with HybridTouch widescreen for maximum viewing from every angle, in addition to a "hidden" microSD memory card slot and silicone flexible sun cover. The advanced LED back lighting provides low power consumption yet maximum vibrant colour and contrast. Along with the new screen technology and easy-to-use controls, you can use the new "LightHouse User Interface" technology to easily customise the display to your boating needs.
One of the main new features is that you can transform your iPad or iPhone 4 into a remote viewer for the e7 Display. Thanks to the video streaming capability, you can view sonar, radar, charts and thermal imaging simultaneously from anywhere on-board. All you need is the integrated Wi-Fi connection from the e7 Display and the "Raymarine Viewer" App from Apple iTunes App Store.
Similarly, you can use the built in Bluetooth to play your music from your iPod Touch, iPad or iPhone 4. As an added bonus, you can control the music such as play, pause, fast forward and rewind the music all from the helm using the RCU-3 Steering Wheel Remote Control. Simply connector your iPod Touch, iPad or iPhone with a dock or auxiliary cable, store it in a safe place and away you go.
Designed for how boaties think an additional benefit of the e7 Display is that the screen can be viewed by polarised sunglasses. This is attributed to the new "Sport Optic Friendly" technology. No longer will you have to take off your sunglasses to see the "blacked-out" screen.
The e7 Display can offer networking with up to six displays plus accessories. So, with this networking, it is easier to integrate your video, HD Digital radar and thermal imaging camera for maximum safety whilst sailing.
Another exciting new feature that the e7 Display encompasses, is a built in, high sensitivity GPS that has 48 channels at your disposal. Also, as an option, the e7 Display can include a high quality Navionics microSD memory card.
