Garmin's range of GMR xHD2 Open Array Radars are designed for the larger yachts and sport fishing boats.

There are five units available with a 4' or 6' antenna and 4, 6 or 12kW. All units feature high sensitivity and consistent target positioning making them them perfect for cruising and fishing newar shore, offshore, or wherever; even overnight and in foggy/limited visibility conditions.

The 4' antenna focuses the beamwidth down to an impressive 1.8 degrees. And better yet, the 6' antenna targets the beamwidth down to just 1.1 degrees.

Garmin's innovative technology includes "Bird Mode" where the open array xHD2 radars have the sensitivity to locate flocks of birds feeding in the distance!

The xHD2 open array series have rotation speeds of 24 and 48 rpm and a maximum range of 72nm. Additionally, they are uasy to use and install.
