A: Basically, the everyday maintenance is your 5 and 25 micron pre-filters. How often you need change these pre-filters all depends on what type of water you are drawing from. If you are drawing from clean water such as out in the Pacific Ocean, then they could last you up to 3 months. However, if you are drawing from murky, unclean water such as a river, then they could last you three days.
Your membrane can last 5 to 10 years if taken care of with the automatic Fresh Water Flush and storage solutions.
Also, there is an annual maintenance that should be carried out every year. Our team of desalination technicians are able to come out to your water maker and do this annual service for you.
